Rugsėjo 10 d., šeštadienį, 14.00 val. Šiaulių dailės galerijoje atidaroma tradicinė, tęstinė Baltijos šalių draugaujančių miestų – Pärnu, Jelgavos ir Šiaulių – menininkų kūrybos paroda „AKT/AKTS/AKTAS“. Paroda – Šiaulių dienų programos dalis.
Paroda veiks iki spalio 1 d.
Šiemet pasirinkta intriguojanti akto tema vizualiniame mene. Vakarų menas tiesiogiai susijęs su nuogo kūno vaizdavimu. Nuo antikinių skulptūrų iki erotinių R. Mapplethorpo fotografijų, menininkai pasitelkia nuogo kūno ikonografiją kaip sakralumo ir grožio, tobulumo ir eroso mirties ir nyksmo tyrinėjimo būdą. Tradicinės Vakarų meno akademijos mokymo programa tiesiogiai susijusi su nuogo žmogaus kūno studijomis. Šiuolaikiniame kino, teatro, performanso mene kūnas įgyja naujas radikalaus fiziškumo savybes. Vizualiniuose menuose taip pat gausu subjektyvių kūno savybių interpretacijų. Menas iki šiol yra pats vizualiausias ir emocionaliausias žmogaus kūniškos prigimties pažinimo kelias. Todėl parodų salėse tiek daug teminių akto parodų ir meninių kūniškumo interpretacijų.
Draugaujančių miestų – Pärnu, Jelgavos ir Šiaulių – menininkų kūrybos paroda „AKT/AKTS/AKTAS“ susitelkia į šių miestų menininkų akto vaizdavimą savo kūryboje. Parnu menininkai Marko Toomast, Indrek Aija, Andres Adamson, Alar Raudoja daug metų savo įvairiapusėje kūryboje gilinasi į menines akto galimybes. Tai nestebina, nes Pärnu miestas yra žinomas kaip meninė radikalių performansų ir provokuojančio nuogumo sostinė. Jelgavos fotografas Eduards Kapsa savo kūryboje nuosekliai puoselėja klasikinio akto meno galimybes, siekia tobulumo kurdamas elegantiškai choreografiškas kompozicijas. Šiaulius šį kartą atstovauja tapytojas Ričardas Garbačiauskas. Tapytojo potėpis gražina kūnui jo medžiagiškumą, faktūrą. Tai itin būdinga Ričardo kuriamiems aktams. Jie gražūs ir baugūs vienu metu. Kaip ir kūniška mūsų prigimtis.
Saturday, September 10, 2:00 p.m. The Šiauliai Art Gallery opens a traditional, continuous exhibition of the works of artists from the friendly cities of the Baltic States – Pärnu, Jelgava and Šiauliai – „AKT/AKTS/AKTAS“. The exhibition is part of the Šiauliai Days program.

Western art is directly related to the depiction of the naked body. From antique sculptures to erotic photographs by Mapplethorpe, artists use the iconography of the naked body as a way of exploring the death and decay of the sacred and beauty, perfection and eros. The curriculum of a traditional Western art academy is directly related to the study of the naked human body. In contemporary cinema, theatre, and performance art, the body acquires new properties of radical physicality. The visual arts are also rich in subjective interpretations of bodily features. Art is still the most visual and emotional way of knowing the physical nature of body. That is why there are so many thematic exhibitions of the act and artistic interpretations of physicality in the exhibition halls.
The exhibition „AKT/AKTS/AKTAS“ of the works of the artists of the twin cities – Pärnu, Jelgava and Šiauliai – focuses on the representation of the act of the artists of these cities in their work. Parnu artists Marko Toomast, Indrek Aija, Andres Adamson, Alar Raudoja have been delving into the artistic possibilities of the act for many years in their versatile work. This is not surprising, because the city of Pärnu is known as the artistic capital of radical performances and provocative nudity. Jelgava-based photographer Eduards Kapsa consistently nurtures the possibilities of classical act art in his work, and strives for perfection by creating elegantly choreographed compositions. Šiauliai is represented this time by the painter Ričardas Garbačiauskas. The painter’s stroke restores its materiality and texture to the body. This is particularly characteristic of the acts created by Richard. They are beautiful and scary at the same time. As is our carnal nature.
